Additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training are required for oral and maxillofacial surgery after graduating from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Khayat manages a wide variety of issues related to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions.
Dr. Khayat practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, specializing in procedures such as dental implant surgery, wisdom tooth removal, and corrective jaw surgery. Our techniques focus on rebuilding bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and ensuring optimal patient comfort. Additionally, our office can diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.
Our staff is trained to assist with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our modern office setting. Patients are carefully monitored during and after surgery for their safety and well-being.
Surgical Staff
The surgical team at Wisdom Oral Surgery & Dental Implants consists of skilled and certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants who are experienced in administering IV sedation and assisting in surgery. Additionally, we have a registered nurse (RN) who is trained to assist during procedures. Our staff members are knowledgeable in administrative tasks, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and hold CPR certification.
